Forza 3 Demo is up now!

It's blows NFS:Shift out of the water. What a pile of crap that game turned out to be. The demo track is nice. Hard as heck to pass. Cars include a Mini, a Mitsubishi, Ferrari, Audi, and a Porsche in varying classes. Graphics and sound are what you'd expect. Tons of assist options. There is a clutch now but it's mapped to the LB and it's really hard to use under braking with assists off. Maybe the full game will allow custom mapping. I'd like to be able to use it. I really like the in car views. The cars handle very well out of the box.

I was reading some of the info at the base of the load screens and it looks like we'll have drag racing and drifting in the full game. That should be interesting. I wasn't a big fan of drag racing in the first game but drifting should be awesome. Overall it's typical Forza but very well polished. I haven't noticed a multiplayer option though. Bummer.

This may be a game that I pick up new, i have not bought a brand new game in a long time now. I am currently DL'ing the game, it will get a test spin here in a bit. 25%.....

Man, I had some good times (not lap times) with that demo today. I like the incar view alot, I was also very happy to see the Porsche Cayan suv thingy. I hope that means typhoons, cyclones, lightnings and the 454SS are in it. I think a truck series much like our mini series will be alot of fun.

Pretty polished for a demo. That bodes well for the full game. The in-car view is slick but it doesn't seem to be as "dynamic" as in PGR4...if you know what I mean. The fact that all 400 cars have a cabin view though is pretty wild. This will be as close as a day one purchases as I can muster.

I don't like the damage physics and something about the dashboard cam. Idk if its the extremely close view to the steering wheel or the fact that for some reason I can't look to my left or right is whats killing the game for me. The visuals, tracks, and handling are top notch.

Sometimes I like the dashboard cam but I switched to the bonnet cam pretty quick. found it much better.
