Okay, I am not seeing how this works.  How can I know it works?

I was not aware of this until now.  I spend an OBSCENE amount of money as an amazon prime person.  So that should be of great benefit to TAG...

You click on the Amazon US link above or on the tabs at the top of the page.

It inserts a small TAG referral into your address bar that ties your shopping back to the site. And that is it. there is no additional fees to anyone.

And what does TAG make?  Just a click-through fee?  % of sale?

4% of the sale for most things.

So buy all my e-books, movies 'n shit from Amazon direct instead of through my Kindle apps?

Boy, if I had known earlier ya'll would have been multi-dollarnairs by now.

That's in interesting point. It seems they'd give you a way to link to a group inside the app.

And yes, every little bit helps. Those pennies and dimes add up very quickly.

A HUGE THANKS :s1246:  to everyone that used our Amazon Associates account for Christmas purchases! It went a long way to support us and pay our bills for this year.

You might want to re-check the U.S. Amazon link, it's a tad different then what you have on the post.

They both go to the same place. I created the new one so the link would be easier to read.

I've noticed the url no longer shows TAG anywhere after I navigate around Amazon. Does TAG still get supported as long as I use the link to first go to Amazon?

Yes. It saves your preference while you're visiting Amazon. Closing your web browser may remove your preference. Depending on your Cookie options, it most likely remembers your TAG preference every time you visit, but this is not guaranteed. The best option is to always visit Amazon using the TAG link.

The Amazon Associates Account is huge for us. We're now able to pay all our bills without any type of donations or fund raisers. I personally want to Thank everyone that uses it.

Back when I maintained the account it never showed other than the items that were purchased. For example if someone bought XYZ then it would show it as three transactions. It wouldn't look like someone bought 3 things. You just get the credit for those three things individually. So it doesn't say who buys what, just what is being bought.

No one really goes back to look and see what was purchased. Pretty much set it and forget it.
