I watched a couple trailers and read the reviews of this- looks pretty neat, and my interest is definitely piqued. Anyone else?

I pre-ordered the crap out of this game! Plays like a cross between God of War and Devil May Cry. (God vs Devil????) Looking forward to it!

They did a lot of research into The Divine Comedy and I think they will doing a good job recreating Dante's Inferno. Our modern ideas of Hell stem from this poem. If they did it right, it could be offer some educational insight. The game's website provides a lot of historical information. I'm curious to see if their 9 levels of Hell are differentiated and telling of the sins they are named.

I read the first comic book, but haven't picked up the second one yet. There's also an animated movie that I'm looking forward to. Seems their research has spawned a lot of creativity.

Agreed, MadWik. I love the games that stay true to life (or poem). I bought Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway specifically because of the massive research that went into building the environments.

I perused the site and read the analysis of the poem, and looking at screenies of the game, they stayed as true as they could, some variation required to actually make it fun to play. It also spurred me to read the actual Inferno, and while it's quite long, I'm almost done with it now, and it has stayed rather entertaining.

Played the demo last night, it was sweet. Like Diablo on 60fps steroids!

Wow! I didn'y know about this game until the Super Bowl commercial. Downladed about 2 seconds after the commercial was over. Just finished playing the opening scene of the demo and I am sold!
